How to use Mockup Templates to reorganize existing mockups and create your own

Sellers can tailor mockups to match their brand identity and keep product presentation consistent by using our Mockup Templates feature. Reorganize POPCUSTOMS' existing mockups and create your own by following the steps below.

Step 1: Create a POPCUSTOMS account

Sign up for a free account at POPCUSTOMS.

Step 2: Design products

Choose a product from over 475 options to design.

Step 3: Generate your own mockup templates

Go to Dashboard -> My Designs, click ︙ -> Mockup Templates -> Add new template to generate your own mockup templates for your design.

On the left and top are the action bars and action buttons:

• Mockups: Existing mockups that you can choose from and reorganize.
• Image Library - Private: Upload your own images or choose images you uploaded before.
• Image Library - Public: Free image categories you can choose from, such as background images and promo labels.

Other tools on the page include:

• Products: Switch to another product and generate new custom mockup templates more easily.
• Branding: Add branding items to your custom mockup templates so customers can see them.
• Text: Add text to your template. For personalized products, you can add text such as "NAME CAN BE CHANGED".
• Image: Another place to upload your own image.
• Background color: A button in the top right corner that lets you change the background color if you do not want to upload a background image.

Step 4: Edit mockup templates

Click Mockup Templates -> Edit to edit the template as needed.

Something important to know:

1. Mockup templates are saved as blank designs, so a template can be applied to different designs of the same product. However, the branding item in the mockup template is saved with your design on it. If the branding changes, you need to edit and update the branding item.
2. Background removal will be applied to some existing mockups for a better experience when you create your own custom templates.
3. We suggest naming custom mockup templates clearly for future use.
4. If anything changes in the branding items, edit your mockup template first, then go to Dashboard -> Stores -> Synced designs to find the product, edit it, and update the mockups in your store.
5. The Mockup Templates feature only applies to your own designs or Design-Plus products. Public designs are excluded.

Introduction to different Mockup Templates entrances:

1. After saving your design, you will see a Mockup Templates button in the progress bar.

2. On Dashboard -> My Designs, there are 3 entrances to the Mockup Templates feature.

• Existing mockups are plain white without designs if you enter through entrance 1.
